Medium gold
-
Nose:
An elegant harmony of fresh green apple, William’s pear and spring blossom. Complemented with aromatic hops and fresh herbs.
-
Palate:
Vibrant with a zesty citrus note followed by creamy vanilla and a hint of fresh hops. Also some wood spices.
-
Finish:
Medium long finish with enduring sweetness of vanilla with an echo of sour green hops and wood spices.
-
Conclusion:
The IPA was very mellow and not overwhelming, rather it was not that present at all. Maybe because the finish wasn't that long and it didn't get that much time to integrate with the whisky. It's a nice single malt whisky but expected more out of this experiment. The price is good for what you are getting a young Glenfiddich with a different finish.
