Nose:
Sweet but delicious nose with: Vanilla, salted caramel, chocolate and toffee with notes of oak, nutmeg, ginger, lemon basil, dried fruits and pear

Palate:
Fresh and sweet with caramel moving into poached peaches and ripe pear. Quickly followed by a toffee sweetness with light oak spices in the form of nutmeg and hints of white pepper, ginger, dark salted chocolate in the background

Finish:
Long, smooth and velvet finish with a balanced between sweet and bitter. Lingering raisins, salted dark chocolate and caramel.

Conclusion:
With this Edition, The Macallan collaborate with Pantone color institute to show of their natural coloring of their whisky. Natural coloring is something that i really support. hopefully more companies will show of their natural color of their whiskies. This Edition has the same quality and loveliness we can expect from the Macallan.
