Matured in American oak hogsheads with some European oak refill
From the Oldest Distillery on the Isle of Skye
Highland (Isle of Skye)
18 -22 PPM
70, 75 cl
25 year old
Banana fritters, sea spray, old oak furniture, cider apples, a whiff of Frazzles, all held together with crumbly fudge notes.
Floral heather - perhaps a hint of rose too. Develops heavier notes of salted caramel, chilli chocolate, smoky barley and nectarines.
Smoke becomes sweet on the finish, with an undercurrent of cedar.
