On the nose you will get vanilla, complex sherry, marzipan caramel, honey, raisins, and lots of dark forrest fruits mixed with citrus fruits. Also elegant toasted oak with underlying rosehip, dark chocolate and marzipan

Palate:
A complex palate with lots of different flavors. Starts of with layers of vanilla, caramel and different kind of licorice with creamy butterscotch and fresh espresso. Toffee dipped baked appels. the uniquely complex palate also reveals ripe banana, black pepper and roasted almonds.

Long and complex finish with lots of balanced sherry flavors. But also dark chocolate, raisins and espresso. hints of black pepper and roasted almonds

This extraordinary release by Tamdhu is a iconic moment. not every distillery can say they released a 50 year old. Everything about this bottle is done with the utmost care and dedication. The design is beautiful and the single malt whisky inside this bottle is history captured in a bottle.
