Conclusion:
While all Tamdhu matures exclusively in the finest Oloroso sherry casks from Jerez, Gran Reserva First Edition goes further still. They hand-selected the very finest first-fill Oloroso casks from Jerez – in other words, the very best of the best. These exceptionally expensive casks are the pinnacle of sherry cask maturation, which bestow upon the whisky two great gifts: rich mahogany colour and outstanding taste. Fittingly, Tamdhu bottle the Gran Reserva un-chillfiltered, just as nature intended.
