Taste note
-
Colour:
Dark ruby
-
Nose:
Fresh zest of orange and citrus fruits. A slight waxy note fades to fresh green apples. Robust notes of chocolate, dark roasted coffee beans, raisins, figs, dates, thick fudge and caramel toffees with subtle chocolate truffles and marzapin. Fresh bananas and sweet oak arrives last.
-
Palate:
A oily and great full mouthfeel. Sweet and balanced with flavors of light citrus zest with new oak gives way to the succulent sweetness of lemon and orange. Also flavors of sherry, dark fruits, dark chocolate, vanilla, caramel, nutmeg, raisin, sultana and apple. With subtle hints of licorice and spices like cinnamon and ginger.
-
Finish:
Long, balanced and complex finish with dark chocolate, vanilla, caramel, cinnamon and raisins with a glimpse of toasted oak to give you that great long lasting finish.
-
Conclusion:
No only the presentation of this single malt whisky is amazing the whisky inside the bottle is as well. It’s something special with every sip. Complex, lots of different layers of flavor, depth and nothing but luxury, If you want to present your past with something special this is the bottle. Because whisky is meant to be shared and enjoyed.
